Did you know that CostManager works in the cloud?<\/p>\n

What does this mean?
\nFor example, \u00a0Adobe recently moved its creative services to the cloud. \u00a0You can no longer buy the Creative Suite in a boxed CD set. \u00a0Instead you pay a monthly fee to use each individual service or a bundle of services.. \u00a0Thats why its now called Adobe Creative Cloud instead.<\/p>\n

Where in the past people would run applications or programs from software downloaded on a physical computer or server in their building, \u00a0cloud computing allows people to access the same kinds of applications through the internet.<\/p>\n

You can access the data you need anytime, \u00a0anywhere. \u00a0You and your employees can still work as effectively in the office as you can away from it.<\/p>\n

Reduce your costs, \u00a0unlike on site hosting, \u00a0the price of deploying applications in the cloud can be less due to lower hardware costs, \u00a0from more effective use of physical resources.<\/p>\n

Universal access, cloud computing can allow remotely located employees to access applications and work via the internet.<\/p>\n

Up to date software, \u00a0a cloud provider will also be able to upgrade software keeping in mind feedback from previous software releases<\/p>\n

We can migrate your data to the cloud and give you full access for the same amount as you currently pay for running “on machine”<\/p>\n

Our servers are hosted in Melbourne and Singapore by Microsoft, \u00a0we auto backup every night to two different sources and you can also sync down your data back to the local computer. We do this via our own app or we can also use OneDrive, \u00a0Google Drive or Box accounts, \u00a0its your choice.<\/p>\n

While cloud storage like it has something to do with weather fronts and storm systems, \u00a0it really refers to saving data to an off site storage system maintained by a third party. \u00a0Instead of storing information to your computers hard drive or other local storage device, \u00a0you save to a remote database. \u00a0The internet provides the connection between your your computer and the database. \u00a0On the surface cloud storage has several advantages over traditional data storage. \u00a0For example if you store your data on a cloud storage system, \u00a0you’ll be able to get to that data from any location that has internet access. \u00a0You wouldnt need to carry around a physical storage device or use the same computer to save or retrieve your information.<\/p>\n

You can print to your own printers or via Google Cloud Print<\/p>\n
